To present the Business Plan Performance Report for 2023/24 detailing progress against outcome targets linked to the Corporate Plan priorities and objectives.

To report on the revenue and capital outturn position for 2023/24, provide an update on progress with the preparation of the draft annual statement of accounts for 2023/24 and approve the revenue and capital carry forward requests to the 2024/25 financial year.

To inform Members of the treasury management activity and the actual prudential indicators for 2023/24. 

To consider requests for grant aid in accordance with the provisions of the Council’s Grant Aid Policy.

To consider a request for grant aid in accordance with the provisions of the Council’s Grant Aid Policy.

To seek approval to undertake consultation on the Low Carbon Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).

To update Cabinet on the work undertaken to review the Council's Speech Call Units and Lifeline Service.

To seek approval for an updated Management of Communal Areas Policy.

To advise Members of the latest Air Quality Status Report which has been submitted to the Department of Food Environment and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).

To advise Members of and seek approval for the Food Safety Service Plan 2024/25.

To seek approval for the annually reviewed and updated Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement and for its inclusion on the website and publish on the Home Office’s Modern Slavery Statement portal.

To seek approval of a new policy for Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Case Reviews, formerly known as Community Trigger.

Cabinet is asked to approve its Work Programme, including potential key decisions that will help to achieve the Council’s key priorities and associated objectives.

Cabinet is asked to RESOLVE that, under Section 100A of the Local Government Act, 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 of Schedule 12A of the Act.
