Councillor Susan A Bagshaw

Councillor Susan Bagshaw represents the Eastwood Hilltop Ward. Susan was also Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe 2015/16.

After being educated at Beauvale Infant and Junior School, Eastwood Comprehensive School and South East Derbyshire College, Susan worked as a Junior Secretary at the Guildhall Nottingham before moving into HR and later becoming a Pensions Manager. She is currently a Manager at Eastwood Volunteer Bureau and thoroughly enjoys working in the voluntary sector.

Susan has been a member of Labour since 1997 and has helped the local party on elections and fundraising, as well as electioneering for the MP for Ashfield. She is a member of Eastwood and Greasley Beauvale CAT, the Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing committee and the Management Committee of Eastwood Peoples Initiative.

Susan has an allotment in Eastwood and enjoys gardening, as well as reading.
