Reason for urgency:
The principle of setting up a Broxtowe Local Enterprise Agency was confirmed when the Economic Development Strategy was agreed by Cabinet in December, (it was included in the approved 2024/25 Action Plan). The detail of this entity had been left till this quarter. A report needs to come back to Cabinet as soon as possible so that any UKSPF funding supporting the initiative can be defrayed before March 2025.
