            RESOLVED that P Lally be appointed Chair of the Committee.

Members are requested to declare the existence and nature of any disclosable pecuniary interest and/or other interest in any item on the agenda.

There were no declarations of interest.

An application for a premises licence, under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003 (the ‘Act’), in respect of Queens Head, Kimberley, was considered by the Alcohol and Entertainment Committee Licensing Panel.

The Panel considered the Application, representations made by the Applicant, and the representations made by the Interested Parties in relation to this application. This included the safeguarding steps undertaken by the Applicant to ensure there was minimal impact on the neighbouring properties.

The Committee also noted representations raised by the interested parties relating to the application. The Panel noted the concerns relating to noise and Anti-Social Behaviour that may take place if the Application was approved. The Panel further considered the representations made Nottinghamshire Police in relation to their concerns that the Applicant was not a fit or proper person to hold a licence due to the previous mismanagement of the premises.

          RESOLVED to refuse the applicant the licence.
