The Committee is asked to confirm as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on Monday, 20 July 2026.

To receive a verbal update from the Council’s external auditors on the progress made with the 2024/25 audit of accounts.

To approve the amendments to the Strategic Risk Register and the action plans identified to mitigate risks.

To review and scrutinise the refreshed Service Improvement Plan and relevant documents to ensure appropriate action is aligned with the Regulator of Social Housing standards and outcomes.

The Committee will receive an update on the latest position regarding the proposed Community Governance Review following the Work of the Review Group.

To provide Members with a summary of complaints made against the Council.

To report to the Committee a summary of complaints under the Members’ Code of Conduct between 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 and declarations of Gifts and Hospitality.

To consider amendments to the Constitution as recommended by the Constitution Task Group at its meeting on 8 June 2026, in addition to a proposed change to Financial Regulations and an update on the legislative changes to the Planning Committee’s responsibilities.

To consider items for inclusion in the Work Programme for future meetings.
